Firstly Happy New Year, and I have lots of new exciting things to tell you. I December I told you that I have something that I have been working on for several months, those of you know me know that I am a trained tutor for parchment craft as well as a textile conservator and designer.
I can reveal now, that I have been designing for Meryl of Parchcraft UK, who I have known for over 12 years through doing parchment shows and magazines. I have designed four new plates called the heritage collection, I am also introducing a brand new concept for stitching onto parchment. I have used my metal threads and metallic threads, in the way of goldwork embroidery. They work really well and enhance the designs making them special. I have a download on my website, under downloads for £1.99 , which shows you step by step guide on how to use metal threads for embroidery.
Hobby Maker TV
I have moved to the Hobby Maker TV channel 73, from Create and Craft, as I have the options for more shows and you can watch, record and replay the shows, an option C&C could not give me.
I will be showcasing the new Parchment plates with Meryl on the 17th January at 2pm and 4pm. I hope you can join us for a fantastic new show.
I am also on again on the 26th January at 2pm and 5pm, where I will be demonstrating my goldwork taster kits, new threads and lots of new products, set your recorder...or watch.
